Pathways Career College has a long history of helping students overcome barriers to meaningful employment as they build a new future for themselves and their families. 

Pathways Skill Development & Placement Centre, a non-profit Employment Agency founded in 1989, has a long history of developing training programs that help individuals overcome multiple barriers to employment, through hands-on training, certifications and wraparound supports.  

By 2008 the need for training programs expanded, and Pathways Skill Development & Placement Centre was registered as a Career College under the Career Colleges Act of 2005.  

In the following decade, Pathways launched programs in Construction Technology, Logistics & Manufacturing and Administrative & Clerical training. (Enter in an impact number here on # of graduates).  

In 2024, Pathways Skills Development & Placement Centre evolved into Pathways Career College. While this name change reflects the changing landscape of career training, Pathways remains dedicated to providing the training job-seekers need to find employment and create a bright future for themselves.
